100-Day Graduates Earn Cash for Best Presentations
We started the new decade by showing how cities can share their vision from 2010 to 20/20 with this first 100 day OPIS module called the “Business Accelerator” workshop. This initial presentation with the City of Santa Ana, the first of four, was held at the Bowers Museum on January 28 with almost 200 attendees and of the 118 business that were represented almost three out of four chose to continue the training. The 100 day course consisted of four live classes and six teleseminars and the graduating class had their commencement ceremony on May 8 at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana.

How it all began: Helping 100 Businesses for 100 Days rolls throughout Orange County
From an initial event in the City of Santa Ana in January, 2010, and a second workshop in April, the “helping” program next landed in Buena Park in July, 2010. With an attendance of almost 200 business owners, the program brought together the leaders in the business community, civic leaders, bankers and high profile business establishments and everyone learned how to transition their businesses for the next ten years.
